Championship trio Leeds United, Swansea City and Birmingham City are reportedly interested in signing Jake Clarke-Salter from Chelsea on loan.
According to claims from The Telegraph, the promising defender is set to leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis once again for the 2019/20 campaign.
Clarke-Salter spent last season in the Eredivisie, representing Vitesse Arnhem during a successful loan spell, which appears to have caught the eye of many suitors in the Championship.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is keen for the England Under-21 international to gain more first-team experience elsewhere, The Telegraph reports, and he most certainly will not be short of potential suitors.
Birmingham are believed to be at the front of the queue of clubs who are pursuing Clarke-Salter, but they will face stiff competition from their second-tier rivals in the race for the centre-back’s signature.
Leeds could look to replace Pontus Jansson following his move to Brentford, while Swansea appear keen to strengthen their back-line, too.
