Chelsea youngster Nicolas Tie has requested that he be sent out on loan next season, with France his preferred destination, according to claims from Foot Mercato, as cited by GFFN.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper has been at the club since 2017, and after making numerous appearances for Chelsea’s academy teams, Tie has now reportedly asked to be loaned back to his homeland to gain some first-team experience.
Tie is currently with Chelsea’s reserve team in Brittany as they complete their pre-season preparations, but with the Blues reportedly willing to allow the youngster to leave the club on loan, it only seems a matter of time before a transfer materialises.
The only potential downfall in Tie’s development seems to be the spree of niggling injuries he has picked up from an early age, and so, a full season of uninterrupted first-team football could be the ideal route to fast-tracking his progress to the senior Chelsea squad.
Tie signed his first professional contract in 2018, but with the deal running until the 2020/21 season, he has just a few seasons to prove his fitness and worth to the club.
