Leicester City star Harry Maguire has handed Manchester United a boost in their pursuit for him as he becomes annoyed with his current club’s stance on selling him.
The talented Englishman is understood to be keen on a move but the Foxes have been stubborn in their negotiations so far.
It’s believed Leicester want a world record fee for the ball-playing centre-back and that is a little out of range in terms of how much United value him.
Maguire has impressed for club and country over the past two seasons and his stock has risen well as he quickly became one of the league’s best defenders.
However, the price-tag on his head may be a sticking point and he could end up not leaving to Old Trafford for the second summer in a row.
According to Sky Sports, Harry is increasingly frustrated with Leicester’s refusal to sell as he hopes to play for the Red Devils as his idols Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic did.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will be hoping the 26 year old will force his way out of the club in order to purchase him for cheaper.
However, that’s unlikely to happen and Manchester United may be better off breaking the bank if they want the transfer to happen.
