Chelsea will only allow Marcos Alonso to leave the club once a new manager arrives at Stamford Bridge.
According to GOAL, Atletico Madrid are keen to bring Alonso to Spain this summer, but Chelsea want a manager in place before sanctioning the move.
Maurizio Sarri is being heavily linked with the Juventus job, which would leave Chelsea without a manager.
The report claims that Alonso is keen to return to Spain after a difficult season at Stamford Bridge, as he lost his place to Emerson towards the end of the campaign.
Alonso made 31 appearances in the Premier League and scored twice in four Europa League games for Sarri’s side.
Atletico Madrid are now offering him a way out of Chelsea as they look to replace Lucas Hernandez – who has signed for German giants Bayern Munich.
The Spaniard, Alonso, appears as though he will now have to wait for his move as Chelsea go in search of a potential replacement for Sarri.
