Tammy Abraham has refused to rule out a return to Aston Villa but expressed his desire to cement his place in the Chelsea first team.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the promising forward discussed his plans for the future and was quizzed about whether or not he would consider returning to the newly-promoted side ahead of next season.
Abraham spent the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Villa Park and thrived under Dean Smith as he led the line for the newly-promoted team.
He found the back of the net on 26 occasions in all competitions last term and with a transfer ban looming over Chelsea this summer and ahead of the January window, they could be keen to utilise their loanees.
Abraham was coy when discussing his future with Sky Sports but assured that his primary aim is to break through at Stamford Bridge.
The striker said when responding to questions about a possible return to Villa:
You can never say never. Chelsea is obviously the club that I have been at since a young so the aim is to try and breakthrough there. Like I say, you can never say never. We’ll see how things look.
