Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly identified nine players he’s interested in signing ahead of a potential summer overhaul.
The Norwegian has spoken about the need to bring his former side back up to its high standards and investment in the squad is clearly needed.
Just who is moved on and who remains is yet to be seen but it’s believed that Solskjaer already knows who he wishes to bring in.
This summer will prove to be extremely crucial to the former Molde man who still has to prove himself over the course of a season.
The club legend’s incredible start has been dampened by a poor ending with United struggling to impose themselves of late.
According to the Express, the Evening Standard report that Ole has nine players on his transfer list though he’s not expected to sign all of them. The players are- Bruno Fernandes, Joao Felix, Youri Tielmans, Kalidou Koulibaly, Raphael Varane, Declan Rice, Idrissa Gueye, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jadon Sancho.
The players mentioned above are the ones the media have been writing about for months now though the manager himself has never confirmed any of those reports.
The targets are at least in line with the areas Solskjaer is believed to be keen on investing in with the centre-back, centre-midfield, right-back and right-wing positions all mentioned.
