Manchester United star Paul Pogba could set to remain at Old Trafford after a development in his representatives.
The Frenchman’s future has very much been up in the air with Real Madrid said to be keen on signing him.
The midfielder himself has admitted a transfer to Spain would be a dream, particularly if it meant playing under Zinedine Zidane’s management.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has attempted to reassure United fans by stating that he believes Pogba will remain.
However he also conceded that anything in football is possible and so the academy product could be on the move.
According to Manchester Evening News, Paul’s agent Mino Raiola has been handed a three month ban by the Italian FA, meaning a move to Juventus would be extremely difficult.
There would still be time to conclude a deal with the Italian side but it would potentially be after the English transfer window has been wrapped up.
The Red Devils would almost certainly avoid selling Pogba if it meant he can’t be replaced and so one can assume he’s safe from Italian interest for now.
Of course the noise from Spain is still a concern but there’s hope he could remain at the club for now.
