Pogba gives ultimate compliment to this Man United player after West Ham

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has reserved special praise for his teammate David de Gea after the heroic show put on vs West Ham.

The Spaniard was arguably at fault for the London club’s equaliser but quickly made up for matters with a crucial save.

De Gea has been consistently linked with a move away from United with nothing ever coming to fruition by there have been claims he will definitely depart if his side don’t qualify for the Champions League.

Pogba is another who has been tipped to leave if such circumstances arrive as reports continue to claim he will move to Real Madrid.

Nonetheless, the pair are certainly the Red Devils best two players and losing either one of them would be a huge blow to the club’s ambitions.

According to the Daily Mail, Paul said: “David is David. We know about this. This is not something incredible. We’re used to it.

“And hopefully we’re going to keep being used to saves like that. I told him ‘this is normal for you, so I don’t congratulate you, I just don’t say anything, it’s normal’.

“He’s a top-class goalkeeper and this save showed it again. We’re really lucky that we have him.”

Hopefully Manchester United will qualify for the Champions League but more importantly, hopefully they will provide David with better cover.

The former Atletico Madrid man has not been properly protected with an adequate defence for quite some time now and yet maintains an impressive amount of clean-sheets.

De Gea deserves the recognition of being the best goalkeeper in the world and to do so he needs team trophies as well as individual ones.
