Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on PSG star Thomas Meunier as they gear up for a summer overhaul.
The Belgian has featured for the French side in 19 of their 31 fixtures played so far as he contends with Dani Alves for the right-back spot.
Meunier is a boyhood United fan so a move shouldn’t be too difficult to complete, particularly since his contract runs out in 2020.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be searching for a full-back amongst other positions and a transfer for the former Club Brugge man seems doable.
The 27 year old would represent one of the more senior targets on the Norwegian’s shortlist as it was said his priority is Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
According to Inside Futbol, L’Equipe report that the Red Devils have been regularly scouting Thomas, adding him to a shortlist of transfers to sign for the summer.
Solskjaer is said to also be interested in a right-winger, an attacking-midfielder and a midfielder.
Meunier could potentially play higher up the flank as well so his versatility would add to the list of reasons to sign him.
It’s no believed his wages would be too high for Manchester United but it could represent a problem given how much PSG pay him.
