Manchester United fans were clearly disappointed by their players’ attitude in the defeat to Wolves in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Many accused the starting XI of not looking remotely interested in the fixture as United never really got going.
After a poor first half, supporters expected Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sort his stars out but even after the break they failed to wake up.
Wolves were clearly the superior side with Sergio Romero singlehandedly keeping the Red Devils in the match for much of the 90 minutes.
Eventually the home side got their goal which allowed them to counter and grab a second moments later.
This was our best chance of a trophy this year. Absolutely gutted with the defeat, we just did’t look at the races from minute one. Full credit to Wolves though, magnificent and thoroughly deserved their win. #mufc

Two season defining games, two embarrassing defeats. This one is particularly terrible given the meek way we have bowed out of the cup. With a full strength team (bar De Gea), this is eye-opening. #mufc

Worst #mufc performance under Solskjaer by a distance. Attitude was wrong from the off. Wolves deserved winners.

Shocking stuff tonight but Wolves have been fantastic. Disappointed in our players, didn’t look interested since the start. #mufc

Thought Arsenal game was a one off but clearly not. We atleast created chances Against Arsenal. Tonight's just been a shit show from minute 1. Ole needs to get the lads sorted. The front four dint create one good chance tonight. #mufc
On the other hand Wolves were magnificent

Easily the worst performance from Solskjaer's United. Inexplicable how they could be so bad this half after an awful first half. #mufc

Marcus Rashford did score but it was only a consolation goal in the final minute of the match though the defeat is still just as embarrassing.
The FA Cup was Manchester United’s most realistic trophy to win and a semi-final berth was expected of them.
The players appeared to be lethargic despite having a week off from their last fixture last weekend.
United had lost to Arsenal and so, many expected them to bounce back with a win as a positive reaction to the dropped points.
Nonetheless, the focus for Solskjaer has to be a top four spot right now and there’s still plenty of twists coming up.
