Chelsea are not prepared to lower their asking price for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
According to Sport Media Set, Milan have been trying to negotiate his price down as they look to stay within FFP restrictions.
Bakayoko is currently on a season-long loan to Milan and there is an option in the contract to make it permanent for a fee in the region of €35m.
The report claims that Chelsea are not prepared to drop the valuation and would still be interested in keeping him – due to their current transfer ban.
Bakayoko has been in impressive form for Milan in the Serie A this season and recently scored his first goal for the club against Inter in the derby.
Sport Media Set claim that the only way Milan will be able to secure a permanent deal for Bakayoko is if they earn a Champions League spot – by finishing in the top four.
Milan are currently fourth in the league, four points ahead of Roma with ten games left to play.
