Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku has insisted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will stay at the club following the historic win over PSG.
The Norwegian is technically only at Old Trafford as a caretaker manager until the end of the season but many believe he must be handed the job permanently.
Solskjaer watched on as his players put in an inspired performance to beat the French champions 3-1 in Paris to go through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League on the away goal rule.
Lukaku was central to his side’s efforts, scoring a brace to keep his team in the game before Marcus Rashford scored the winner.
Ole hasn’t been handed the position officially but it’d be almost impossible to hire anyone else after his remarkable impact.

Manchester United’s players have repeatedly and publicly stated their support for Solskjaer in a way they never did for his predecessor Jose Mourinho.
Though some top managers were named to replace the Portuguese such as Massimo Allegri and Zinedine Zidane, no one would’ve envisioned the impact the former Molde man would go on to make.
The United board would be wise to hand Ole a contract as soon as possible so it’s no longer a distraction and if they’re still concerned, they can offer a one year or two year term to avoid past mistakes.
