Manchester United legend Gary Neville has insisted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should demand five new players from the club’s board.
The former right-back was discussing the squads quality before their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal and believed the Norwegian needs to make his terms clear before accepting a permanent position at Old Trafford.
Following United’s historic win over PSG in mid-week, many felt Solskjaer’s permanent appointment is inevitable.
The former Molde man has been discussing how he’s been consulted about the club’s transfer plans for the summer, leaving fans even more excited about his presence.
Neville has even stated how much he believes Ole needs as well as which positions he should target.
Gary Neville: "Ole's doing an incredible job, but he needs to set the foundations and the rules with the guy he's speaking to for his job now. He needs £200m-£250m. They still need three defenders, they still need a midfielder, they still need a striker." #mulive [mail]

The positions Gary points out are rather interesting but perhaps not entirely correct.
A proven right-back, a top centre-back to partner Victor Lindeof and cover for Luke Shaw is needed more so in defence than the two quality centre-backs the pundit was asking for.
Cover in defensive midfield may be needed but Scott McTominay has been fantastic lately so it would be a bit harsh on him.
A right-winger is arguably needed more than anything else on the pitch as United have lacked a true presence out there.
A striker isn’t needed, particularly with Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku’s form. Even Anthony Martial is an excellent option to have in case of any injuries piling up.
