A late strike from Eden Hazard spared Chelsea’s blushes as they managed a 1-1 draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Blues headed into this game in confident mood as they looked to build upon a strong recent run of form.
Wolves, meanwhile, were also looking towards their trip to Stamford Bridge with optimism after enjoying a strong maiden season in the Premier League so far.
It was a cagey affair throughout, and it was the visitors who took the lead in the second half. Raul Jimenez’s scuffed effort deflected off Cesar Azpilicueta and into the net after Diogo Jota led a swift Wolves counter-attack.
Chelsea pushed desperately to score a late equaliser and were bailed out by their talisman in added time.
Hazard drove a low effort through crowds of bodies to beat Rui Patricio in the Wolves net, meaning that both sides shared the spoils.
We’ve taken a look at four findings from the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
