Real Madrid are set to re-appoint Zinedine Zidane as their new manager this week.
According to Marca, via The Mirror, Real Madrid are on the verge of sacking manager Santiago Solari and replacing him with Zidane.
The French boss, Zidane, left Real at the end of last season and has been out of a job ever since.
He has been heavily linked with the Chelsea job in recent months, due to the pressure on current manager Maurizio Sarri.
However, any Chelsea plans to sack Sarri and replace him with Zidane appear to have been thrown out of the window with the news that he is set to return to the La Liga side.
Zidane spent just over two years in charge of Real Madrid and won three Champions League titles with the Spanish giants – beating Liverpool 3-1 in the final in his last game in charge of the club last summer.
