Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter has reportedly returned to Cobham to recover from a knee injury.
Local reports from Sport Arnhem reveal that the player has been back in London.
The defender is expected to stay in England for around two weeks, which suggests that the injury is not deemed too serious.
While Clarke-Salter will be feeling fortunate that he is not sidelined for the long-term, the timing comes as a blow for the Englishman.
After mixed spells with Bristol Rovers and Sunderland, Clarke-Salter has been flourishing in the Eredivisie this season.
He’ll now be hoping for a swift return to Vitesse as he looks to see out the season strongly.
It remains to be seen whether or not the defender has a future at Stamford Bridge, but his loan move to Vitesse has been one of the more beneficial moves in recent years.
