Andreas Christensen has revealed Chelsea’s stance on the incoming transfer ban, with the summer window just around the corner.
Speaking to Ekstra Bladet, as cited on Sport Witness, the defender confirmed that the club do not want to lose any players over the summer.
Christensen claims that Chelsea ‘can’t appeal’ the case’ as they begin to plan for the future in London.
If Chelsea are not granted permission to sign anyone during the upcoming summer window, it could change the immediate futures of a number of players.
The messages we’ve got are that Chelsea can’t appeal the case and therefore want to keep all the players. The situation I have ended up in has been very difficult to accept.
Christensen is one of many that may have been looking to move on during the summer, with game time hard to come by under Maurizio Sarri this season.
The Dane was linked with a January exit, but no deal ever materialised, despite reported interest in Italy.
Eden Hazard also continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer. The return of Zinedine Zidane has fuelled more talk of a switch to the Bernabeu.
