Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed what pleased him most about his side’s win over Fulham, praising his players for their game management.
The Norwegian oversaw the 3-0 victory on Saturday, choosing to rotate his side in an effort to keep them fresh for the upcoming clash vs PSG.
United are also set to face Liverpool and Chelsea after the Champions League fixture so the routine win was perfectly timed.
PSG are unlikely to prove to be as easy as an opponent as Fulham but Solskjaer was happy with how his players controlled the fixture nonetheless.
Anthony Martial scored either side of a Paul Pogba brace to push the Red Devils into fourth place since the opening weekend of the Premier League.
Ole: “We managed the game well and we came through the first 10 minutes to score some fantastic goals. I've been supporting United for many years and you go into every match thinking United is going to win, and they players are thinking that way now." #mufc [BBC]

Ole: “The most pleasing thing was in the second half, the way we controlled it. We could have had four or five goals, it was different to what we did against Leicester so another improvement.” #mufc [Sky]

Manchester United didn’t even need to get out of first gear to beat the relegation candidates and fans were pleased it wasn’t a scrappy affair.
The players will have to step up a couple of levels to defeat the likes of PSG, Chelsea and Liverpool in the most defining time of Ole’s tenure.
Progression in the Champions League isn’t expected but it is something supporters and the board would be delighted with.
The priority is obviously the Premier League though there are those who hope the FA Cup is won as well.
