Maurizio Sarri is reportedly considering dropping goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for Wednesday’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
The shot-stopper refused to be substituted at the end of the League Cup final, despite appearing to carry an injury.
Sarri appeared to become increasingly irate as the Spaniard waved away attempts to take him off, backing himself to do the business in the penalty shootout.
Rather predictably, he did not.

The insolence of his number one may have led to the Italian already annoucing his benching for the immediate future, but the encounter with Spurs will be one of the Blues’ most important games of the season. Regardless, the former Napoli boss could call upon Willy Caballero for the match (for reals, this time).
Despite currently being ten points behind Mauricio Pochettino’s men, Sarri could send a statement to a beleaguered Chelsea squad with a positive result at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
The toxicity of the environment in West London suggests the Italian may not have long left at the helm, despite being in his rookie campaign.
