Real Madrid target PSG star as they could turn attentions away from Hazard

Real Madrid could be set to give up their pursuit of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard as they line up a swoop for Neymar at the end of the season.

According to The Times, via The BBC, Real Madrid are looking to sign Neymar from Ligue 1 giants PSG

Neymar has 13 goals and six assists for PSG in the league this season, having only started 13 games.

The report claims that Real Madrid signing Neymar could end their interest in Hazard, who has been linked with a move to Spain.

Hazard has been in sensational form for Chelsea in the Premier League this season, with 12 goals and 10 assists in 22 starts for Maurizio Sarri’s men.

Real Madrid backing out of the race for Hazard would come as a boost to Chelsea, as they look to keep hold of their star forward.

Chelsea currently sit sixth in the Premier League table and face Manchester City in the League Cup final next Sunday.
