Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Mike Phelan jumped on a private jet soon after Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Leicester City to watch Champions League last 16 opponent Paris Saint Germain lose 2-1 to Lyon on Sunday night.

The pair had overseen Man United grind out a scrappy win against Claude Puel’s side, with Marcus Rashford scoring the game’s only goal on nine minutes.

They then saw PSG lose its first league game of the season as goals from Moussa Dembele and Nabil Fekir crowned a ruthlessly organised and energetic performance to give Lyon a deserved win.

Solskjaer and Phelan, wearing some funny looking hats, were watching on intently as they cook up a game-plan for the first leg at Old Trafford on February 12.
