Agent of Chelsea striker target flies into London amid transfer talk

Gonzalo Higuain’s agent is believed to be in London, amid increasing links to Chelsea.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nicolas Higuain is in the country’s capital, but it remains to be seen if he is there to do business with Chelsea.

Higuain is once again being heavily linked with a January move to Stamford Bridge.

Reports in Spain earlier this week claimed that the striker has agreed to join the Blues, but any move will depend on Chelsea’s willingness to complete a deal.

The Blues were reluctant to spend big on Higuain over the summer due to both his age and huge wage demands.

However, Chelsea’s apparent need for a striker this season may have changed their mind, though.

Alvaro Morata is believed to be closing in on a loan move to Sevilla, but Chelsea are only likely to sanction the striker’s return to Spain if a replacement is signed.
