Manchester United fans were completely ecstatic with their players performance in the second half vs Chelsea.
The result ended 2-2 which supporters may have accepted before the match began but given context it was rather poor.
United were losing 1-0 at the break after Paul Pogba lost Antonio Rudiger during a corner, allowing him a free header to score from.
Whatever was said at half time worked as Jose Mourinho’s men fired back through Anthony Martial who grabbed a superb brace.
The Red Devils looked set for all three points but disappointingly conceded in the dying minute of the match to return home with a draw.
Bigger picture is Mourinho has got majority of fans and players back onside. Plenty were willing to back him up during the melee and second-half performance was excellent. #mufc

United players will feel deflated in that dressing room – undone by a set piece and a high ball – but can take a lot of heart from that second-half. You just wonder why this team always needs the challenge of going behind to really show what they are about #mufc

The way Manchester United played in the second half was reminiscent of their last 45 minutes against Newcastle before the international break as well.
Mourinho will certainly now focus on somehow inspiring his players into performing the same way throughout the 90 minutes to win games more convincingly.
The pressure is still very much on his shoulders and at any point this season he can lose his job if United underperform.
Thankfully for the time being it looks as those the majority of the players are willing to fight for Jose and he may yet keep his job after all.
