Man United fans react to Lukaku's performance vs Everton

Manchester United fans were not pleased with Romelu Lukaku after his disjointed performance vs Everton in the Premier League.

The Belgian didn’t even start the fixture but still incurred the wrath of the supporters after he came off the bench.

Marcus Rashford was the man to make way and once that happened, United’s attacking impetus completely disappeared.

Lukaku is currently going through a difficult patch of form at the moment and the majority of the fans have lost their patience with him.

For all his weaknesses there’s no doubting the former Chelsea man’s goalscoring record but unfortunately even that isn’t going his way.

Lukaku's confidence is non-existent right now.

Though Romelu has looked a shadow of himself, the Red Devils don’t necessarily create chances galore either which definitely doesn’t help.

Some supporters believe the striker is struggling this season due to putting on what they consider to be too much weight.

Lukaku isn’t fat or overweight but perhaps he’s bulked up too much for someone who’s meant to be an athletic footballer.

The powerful forward has looked off-pace, slow and heavy for a few weeks now and could do with some time away from the limelight so that he can recover his form.
