Eden Hazard heads the list of absentees from tomorrow night’s Europa League clash against MOL Vidi as Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri gets set to rest several of his star players, according to a report on Sky Sports.
Sarri’s side started their Europa League campaign with a 1-0 win over Greek side PAOK last time out in the competition but a more straightforward victory is expected against Hungarian side Vidi tomorrow night at Stamford Bridge.
Vidi lost their opening group-stage match at home to BATE Borisov 2-0, leaving Sarri likely to rest a number of his star Chelsea players, including that of Hazard.
Hazard stayed at home when Chelsea travelled to Greece last month and Sarri is expected to leave the Belgian out of the squad again for his side’s second group game.
Several other big-name Chelsea players could be left on the sidelines as the Italian looks to rotate his squad ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League trip to Southampton on Sunday.
