Tottenham are not the only team renovating their stadium at the moment, Chelsea have seen their Europa League clash with MOL Vidi moved.
Football London reports that instead of playing at the club’s Sostoi Stadium in Székesfehérvár, they will now play at Groupama Arena in Budapest.
The report claims that the club had originally hoped for the work to be completed in time for the new season, but that no longer appears to be the case.
They have been playing their football at the Pancho Arena, but with a capacity of just under 4000, the stadium does not fit UEFA’s criteria for the Europa League.
The Groupama Arena is the home of Hungarian side Ferencvárosi, which some Chelsea fans will be familiar with.
The Blues played a pre-season friendly there back in 2014 when goals from Cesc Fabregas and Ramires were enough to seal a victory for Chelsea.
MOL Vidi were named in Group L alongside Chelsea, BATE Borisov and PAOK FC.
