The FA have confirmed Manchester United star Luke Shaw is set to return to the club shortly, ending his time with England for this international break.
The youngster had done incredibly well to get himself called up for action after starting the season in fine form.
It became almost impossible for Gareth Southgate to ignore Shaw and he was rightfully handed a start against Spain on Saturday.
Unfortunately, the left-back suffered an injury during the match and was forced off the field though he would’ve been happy with his performance up until that point.
Luke provided a fine assist for Marcus Rashford‘s goal in England’s 2-1 defeat to Spain at Wembley.

Fans were concerned he may have suffered a potentially season ending injury but thankfully it’s now confirmed he had only sustained a concussion.
Not a light injury either but at least it means he won’t be out for too long and can perhaps return to United’s line-up soon.
The other good news is he won’t be risked in England’s midweek fixture and so can take the rest of the week off to recover.
