Manchester United have offered Anthony Martial a new contract worth around €10m a year but Juventus remain keen on signing him once his current deal expires, according to Gianluca di Marzio colleague Fabrizio Romano.
Martial initially appeared to be destined for a move away from Old Trafford earlier in the summer, with Juventus emerging as prime candidates to secure his signature.
But it was recently reported by several top outlets that Martial was now willing to extend his future at Old Trafford in the belief that he would outlast Jose Mourinho – who hinted a new deal was close last week – at Man United in the long run.
And Romano, who works with the reliable Di Marzio, United have now tabled a deal which would see Martial earn €10m a year – nearly €200,000 every week – should he decide to commit his long term future to the club.
United are confident they will convince Martial to stay at Old Trafford beyond this season but Juventus – just like with Emre Can, Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo – believe they are in with a chance of signing the talented winger for free once his contract runs out in 2019.
