Manchester United star Luke Shaw may have finally won over manager Jose Mourinho by reporting to pre-season duty by topping the squad’s fitness tests.
The Englishman’s attitude has often been questioned by many sections of the media and not just the Portuguese boss though he may be disproving that now.
Shaw was even occasionally laughed at by some fans due to looking a little heavy during some of United’s fixtures last season.
Wayne Rooney previously went through the same kind of treatment as it often appeared he was not in prime footballer conditions so to speak.
There’s still a long road ahead for Luke to prove his worth at United but he’s certainly started off well which may just impress Mourinho after all.

Of course many of the Red Devils’ senior stars are missing from the pre-season squad due to their exploits for their nations at the World Cup.
Perhaps when they return from their holidays they may give Shaw a run for his money but it’s still impressive what he’s done nonetheless.
Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera are two players who are present who are though of as being tireless machines and couldn’t outperform the young full back.
