Reports suggest that Arsenal could sell as many as six first-team players as Unai Emery prepares to trim his squad ahead of the new season (via The Telegraph).
It has been a productive summer transfer window for Arsenal thus far with five major arrivals.
Aside from the players whose contracts expired, the Gunners are yet to sell a player but reports suggest that that will change in the coming weeks.
The Telegraph has claimed that a whole host of Arsenal first-team players face uncertain futures in the coming weeks.
Danny Welbeck and David Ospina are the two high-profile names on a list that also features Lucas Perez, Joel Campbell, Chuba Akpom and Carl Jenkinson.
Welbeck and Ospina were given extended breaks after playing for England and Colombia respectively in the World Cup.
A lot of the players on the list were always expected to leave the club this summer however, there is some surprise to see both Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez on the list. Arsenal aren’t blessed with too many options out wide so to lose both Welbeck and Perez would be a strange decision unless the club is to make another signing.
