Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has delivered some troubling news over the club’s potential transfer business this summer, claiming what he wants and what will happen are two different things.
It appears the Portuguese manager is hinting that transfers are out of his hands and in the hands of vice-executive chairman Ed Woodward.
Mourinho also previously stated he has no clue what’s going on with any potential new signings, once more suggesting it’s the United hierarchy who aren’t following through on his targets.
There’s no doubt the former Real Madrid boss believes this squad is not good enough to win the Premier League and has a few targets in mind that’ll help bring it up to scratch.
Unfortunately the Red Devils have only invested in one major signing in Fred while Lee Grant is more of a temporary signing and Diogo Dalot is an unknown player.

Jose has cut an increasingly frustrated figure of late and there’s certainly hints of potential trouble between himself and the club’s hierarchy.
If it’s true that Manchester United are not willing to invest any further this transfer window then they will certainly fall short of the title once more.
Some disgruntled fans have expressed their unhappiness at the board for not making any more signings so far and with a little over two weeks left, there’s not much time left to make amends.
