Real Madrid are reportedly open to Cristiano Ronaldo leaving to Manchester United on the one condition that Romelu Lukaku moves in the opposite direction.
Jose Mourinho has been said to have been interested in potentially bringing back the Portuguese to Old Trafford in the hopes of improving his current squad.
There have been reports that Ronaldo is currently unhappy in Spain and is seeking a move abroad with his heart set on United though he will consider moves to Juventus or PSG.
Mourinho just brought in Lukaku from Everton last summer and he’s proved, especially lately, just why he was bought for so much money.
The Spanish giants are perhaps trying to deter United away from making a genuine bid for their star man, perhaps due to Juventus’ interest always said to be real.
According to Manchester Evening News, Don Balon report that Real Madrid have demanded Romelu for Cristiano as part of a swap deal though the Red Devils aren’t keen on such a transfer.
It wouldn’t make sense to lose a man who will be so central to the club’s future for one who will only be around for a few years at best.
Ronaldo’s age is unfortunately a factor and so must be considered when negotiating any type of deal.
