Chelsea star says he will not let his teammate leave this summer

David Luiz told reporters that he is in contact with teammate Willian every day and says that he will not let his international teammate leave this summer.

Barcelona have had three bids rejected for Willian so far this summer and it looks like they will soon come back with another, although their pursuit of Malcom may suggest otherwise.

However, even if Barca do come back in, Luiz says he will not allow his teammate to leave and he will stay in contact with him every day until he returns.

Plenty of Chelsea’s players, such as Eden Hazard, N’Golo Kante and Alvaro Morata, are being linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge and with only a few weeks to go before the transfer window closes, plenty is still left up in the air in terms of how the squad will shape up next season.

However, if Luiz gets his way, Willian will be part of the team next year.
