Manchester United star Daley Blind has reportedly agreed personal terms with Ajax despite a transfer fee not yet agreed between the two clubs.
The Dutchman hasn’t hidden his desire to rejoin his former club which would see him leave Old Trafford since joining in the 2014 season under Louis Van Gaal‘s management.
Blind hasn’t perhaps had the best time at United as it can be claimed he’s even regressed since leaving his home nation though he did experience some good moments.
Ironically enough, the versatile player enjoyed his best spell at the club when playing as a centre-back alongside Chris Smalling during Van Gaal’s reign.
However, he’s struggled to truly establish himself in midfield or even in the left-back spot and hasn’t really impressed Jose Mourinho enough to hold onto him.

The way transfers are normally done, or at least legally done, are that transfer fees between two clubs are agreed and then personal terms can be negotiated.
However, in modern football clubs consistently find ways to manoeuvre their way around the rules so it shouldn’t be too surprising what the aforementioned claimed.
€17m isn’t too much given Blind’s true quality but at least €5m more than what Manchester United spent to bring him in to the club.
