Trevoh Chalobah has reportedly held talks with Championship side Ipswich ahead of a loan move.
According to an exclusive report from Ipswich website, TWTD, the player has visited the club’s training ground to discuss a loan move.
The report claims that a season-long loan deal is being considered, as Chalobah looks to get his first taste of regular senior football.
The two clubs are yet to agree on the terms of the deal. Chelsea will be keen to ensure that the move is worthwhile for Chalobah.
Chalobah is highly thought of at Chelsea, with the Blues keen for him to take the next step of his development.
The defender was recently invited to train with the England senior squad before they travelled out to Russia for the World Cup, a sign of how highly he is rated.
Blackburn have also been credited with an interest in the versatile defender, who can play on the right or through the middle.
