Chelsea have reportedly added both Jorge Sampaoli and Brazilian coach Tite to their list of candidates to replace Antonio Conte.
Yahoo reports that both international coaches are viewed as cheaper options to Maurizio Sarri, who remains the first choice for the London outfit.
Sampaoli is a name that has cropped up before and he was one of many to be linked with the job before Antonio Conte originally took over at Stamford Bridge.
The report claims he was of interest to Arsenal as well before they announced Unai Emery as Arsene Wenger’s successor.
Tite has earned plenty of admirers since taking over the Brazilian national team, with his side widely considered as one of the favourites to win the World Cup this summer.
Neither coach would be available to take over until after this summer’s tournament, which does not solve Chelsea’s problem of wanting to have a manager in place soon.
Talks are still thought to be happening with Napoli over a deal for Sarri, with the hope of making a breakthrough this week.
