A host of clubs are believed to be waiting for Jack Wilshere to decide his future as the midfielder’s Arsenal contract draws to a close (via Sky Sports).
Jack Wilshere will become a free agent in the coming weeks as his current Arsenal deal is set to expire.
The midfielder has been at Arsenal since the age of nine but has stalled on signing the new deal which has reportedly been offered to him.
Wilshere met with the club’s new head coach Unai Emery last week but it has been reported that the discussions did not overly please the midfielder.
It is believed that Emery does not consider the midfielder as central to his plans and Wilshere is still yet to sign the new Gunners contract.
Now, there are said to be a number of Premier League and Serie A clubs waiting on Wilshere to make a decision on his future.
It’s going to be an interesting few weeks for Jack Wilshere as the midfielder’s contract draws to a close. The 26-year-old has spent the majority of his life as an Arsenal player and many Gunners fans believed that he would one day captain the side. Things haven’t really worked out as anticipated and perhaps it is best for all parties if Wilshere moved on.
