New Manchester United signing Fred has been spotted in the club’s training ground, only the image is from the last year…
The Brazilian’s transfer was only just officially announced by the club which sparked the image to circulate across the internet.
It turns out however that Fred wasn’t hinting that he would potentially move to United, especially since Manchester City were still chasing him at the time.
The talented midfielder was actually at Carrington with his former side Shakhtar Donetsk alongside a picture that looks to be of academy product Angel Gomes.
Fred was actually at the Red Devil’s training ground, presumably because his former team were allowed to use the facilities ahead of their clash with City in the Champions League.
Manchester United fans are certainly enjoying the news that they’ve beaten Pep Guardiola’s team to the signing of Fred, particularly since it was announced last year he’s ‘definitely’ signing for the blue side of Manchester.
There’s no doubt the Spanish manager will have been furious for missing out on someone he was clearly interested in, especially since it was to his so called nemesis.
Fred will definitely add quality to United’s midfield- quality that’s needed due to Michael Carrick‘s retirement.
