Manchester United fans will be excited to hear that their legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson is progressing well after suffering a brain haemorrhage last month.
The Scotsman had been hospitalised and operated on immediately when it happen with supporters hugely concerned for him.
Messages of support came from across the globe with many stating their belief that Sir Alex would never lose the battle.
Thankfully, rather than it being mere hope or speculation, the iconic former boss is getting better and already has a target he’s trying to achieve.
The former United manager retired from football around five years ago with David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and now Jose Mourinho following in his steps since.
According to the Mirror, the Sun report that Ferguson is ‘back on his feet’ and the initial prognosis is ‘extremely good’ after being in the hospital for around a month with some sections of the media claiming he hopes to be at Old Trafford before the start of the next season.
With the way that his health has improved, one wouldn’t put it past him to make it happen, particularly with his determination.
There’s nothing more that Red Devils’ fans would want more than to see him back at Old Trafford, watching his former side once again.
