Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that a team without a Brazilian player is not considered a team, hinting at possible transfers in the upcoming summer window.
There are currently no players at Old Trafford that represent the South American nation which makes the Portuguese manager’s comments all the more interesting.
United have been linked with several Brazilian stars though the main ones are Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and Chelsea winger Willian.
Mourinho opened up previously on the Blues’ attacker claiming a move wasn’t possible and reports believe the manager is willing to do ‘crazy things’ to sign the defender.
Red Devils’ fans will have to wait until the summer to see whether a Brazilian will be brought into the club but with rumours of the former Real Madrid boss wanting to revamp his defence and midfield, it’s very possible.
Mourinho: “I think a team without a Brazilian isn't a team. I think their talent is fantastic and the creativity of the Brazilian player cannot be measured. I worked with Brazilian players in every team I coached, and I enjoyed a lot. #mufc [ESPN]

Both Sandro and Willian would add definite quality to the current crop of players though there’s the argument that the former is more needed.
Manchester United’s defence is in desperate need of some work and the left-back would solve one of Jose’s issues in the backline.
The Chelsea man however would be joining a well stocked attack that has a perfect mix of creativity, pace, experience and youthful exuberance; not that fans wouldn’t love to see him come to Old Trafford.
