Borussia Dortmund are keen to sign Michy Batshuayi on a permanent basis, and Chelsea have reportedly placed a £50m price tag on his head.
According to the Evening Standard, the BVB hierarchy have not been put off by the striker’s ankle ligament injury he sustained against Schalke at the weekend.
Batshuayi has scored nine times in 14 games since his loan switch to Dortmund in January, but unfortunately for all parties, he confirmed in an Instagram post after the match that his season is ‘probably over’.

The Belgian international moved to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth £33.1m from Marseille in 2016, but has found his first-team chances limited under Antonio Conte.
Batshuayi will be hopeful of returning to fitness ahead of this summer’s world cup in Russia, as manager Roberto Martinez names his 23-man Belgium squad in less than seven weeks’ time.
If he does make it to Russia, his value could rocket depending on his performances, and make it harder for Dortmund to strike a deal with the west London side.
