Chelsea and Tottenham set to battle to sign Bundesliga star

Chelsea have been tracking highly-rated Hamburg striker Jann-Fiete Arp for the better part of two year now and there have been reports claiming the Blues will make a summer swoop for the teenager but they could face some late competition for his signature.

Bild, as quoted by talkSPORT, report that Tottenham have joined what has now become Premier League race to sign the German youth international in the next transfer window.

Contracted to the Hamburg club until 2019, Arp is said to be happy at his current club but if an offer came in to leave for a top Premier League club, you imagine it would be hard to turn down.

Everton, Arsenal and Manchester City have also been linked with a move for Arp, who has established a reputation of being one of Europe’s best young strikers.
