Former Chelsea winger Joe Cole says that he has ambitions to become a manager, with his ultimate aim being to become the boss at Chelsea or West Ham.
Cole joined Chelsea from the Hammers in 2003 and ended up playing over 250 games for the club, winning eight major honours, including three league titles.
He eventually left on a free transfer and joined Liverpool but he never went on to enjoy the success that he had at Stamford Bridge.

The 36-year-old hasn’t hung up his boots just yet as he is still playing in America for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, but speaking to FourFourTwo, he said he’d already begun working on his coaching badges.
My long-term plans are to coach or manage – I am doing my A License and really enjoying that side of things.
When asked if he’d like to manage Chelsea or West Ham, Cole replied:
They would be dream jobs for a lot of people, but I’ve got plenty of steps to take before I get anywhere near that level. I’m gaining experience and don’t know where I’ll end up just yet. There are hundreds of roles within a football club, from director of football down to academy roles. But for every player if you love football, you’d love to be manager of England, Chelsea or West Ham.
