Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale is open to a move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Bale is seeking a move back to England and is prepared to join Chelsea if Real Madrid offer him in exchange for Eden Hazard.
Madrid are keen on signing Hazard from Chelsea and could use Bale as a makeweight in the deal.
Bale is said to be open to a move to Chelsea after Manchester United and Tottenham all but ruled out the possibility of signing him in the summer.
The Welsh international has scored 76 goals for Real Madrid since his, at the time, world-record move from Tottenham to Spain.
Bale’s last season at Tottenham is arguably the best season of his career thus far. He scored 26 goals in all competitions, including 21 in the Premier League, an impressive return for a winger.
He has struggled with injuries at Real Madrid and could be looking to revive his career in England with Chelsea.
