Manchester United fans will be delighted to hear pundit and former striker Alan Shearer laud their new star signing Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean made his debut vs Yeovil Town in the FA Cup and wasted no time trying to influence the game as he assisted his teammates twice.
Jose Mourinho decided to start Sanchez, perhaps in the hopes that he’ll inspire the team to a win and he happily justified his manager’s faith.
Although the winger’s passing was found wanting at times, it was clear for all to see that he was trying to create chances for his teammates by playing brave balls forwards.
Shearer did warn Alexis a bit about the responsibility of the shirt that he wears but the Englishman didn’t hold back while praising him either.
Alan Shearer: “It’s a big shirt to fill, but he wont have a problem. The fans are going to love him. His teammates will also love him, I think that’s Mourinho complete now going forward. There was something lack, but now that’s complete for the United manager.” #mufc [bbc]

One of Alexis Sanchez’s greatest strengths is his versatility and he’s joined the right manager in Mourinho who will surely use him to the fullest effect.
Capable of playing anywhere in the front four, the former Arsenal man will need to adjust to United quickly as the team aims to overcome a huge points gap for the Premier League title.
While the competition has been claimed by neutrals to be over, Jose will certainly not let his players let up in their quest to overcome the 12 points that separate them from fierce rivals Manchester City.
With Sanchez joining the Red Devils, he could prove to be the spark necessary to tilt the title back in Old Trafford’s favour or to at the very least put a challenge together.
