Photos have emerged from the Adidas store on Oxford Street of Alexis Sanchez shirts being printed out and sold to customers as the 28-year-old draws closer to a move to Manchester United.
Arsene Wenger confirmed earlier today that the Chilean, who penned a four year deal with Man United on Wednesday, would likely move to Old Trafford in the next 24 hours.
Any move is contingent on Henrikh Mkhitaryan and his agent, Mino Raiola, striking a deal to go the other way, and Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed in the last hour that move is close to being agreed, noting that the whole thing could be wrapped up in a “matter of hours”.
And those at the Adidas store seem to believe so too, printing No.7 shirts with Sanchez’s name for delighted customers.

Now, of course Adidas staff are not ITK, so to speak. They aren’t in direct contact with Ed Woodward or anything like that.
But anyone who has experienced a big transfer saga before will know that this stage of shirts starting to appear at retailers is an integral component of any big move, and generally indicative of the transfer being on the verge of going through.
Woodward has once again pulled off a stormer of a deal – certainly the finest straight swap seen in this country for many years.
