Manchester United have finally completed a deal to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, according to reports.
Craig Norwood confirmed at half time of Man United’s 1-0 win over Burnley that the Chile international was expected to be completed within 48 hours.
Speaking after the game, Jose Mourinho then noted that the Sanchez deal was “so close” to being completed.
And according to the Daily Mail, United have finally got their man after a week of protracted negotiations.

The move appeared to decelerate over the last few days, but on a day when United produced a performance that underlined the 28-year-old’s importance, there appears to have been a breakthrough.
Any United fan will tell you, after all, that the moment Norwood tweets more or less confirms that the move will happen.
Negotiation parties have started to work on the two deals – with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way – as separate entities to avoid the complications that a straight swap entails, and it truly feels like a matter of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ Sanchez will be pictured holding up the United shirt.
Ahead of the January transfer window there were no obvious targets for United to pursue, but the board has plucked a truly sensational scoop out of nowhere.
