Championship side Nottingham Forest have joined the likes of West Brom, Watford and Bournemouth in the race to sign Charly Musonda on loan.
The Telegraph reports that new Forest boss Aitor Karanka has identified the Belgian winger as a possible January signing.
Forest will know all about the player, he scored in Chelsea’s 5-1 Carabao Cup victory against the Championship side back in September.
Musonda has been told he can leave Chelsea on loan this January after the Blues completed the signing of Ross Barkley from Everton.
Barkley joined from Everton for just £15 million and can play either out wide or in a central midfield role.
The former Everton man could make his debut against Norwich in the FA Cup replay at Stamford Bridge.
Musonda has been involved with the first-team squad under Antonio Conte but has been unable to hold down a regular place.
Forest are currently 14th in the Championship, 11 points off the play-off positions.
