Reports suggest that both Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey are refusing to sign new Arsenal contracts for the time being (via The Times).
Well, if things keep going this way then Hector Bellerin will be the only player left at Arsenal.
The Spaniard signed a six-year contract last season but it seems that the rest of his teammates are refusing to follow suit.
We all know about Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez but it seems that another pair is refusing to agree to a new deal to keep them at the Emirates.
We reported last week that the club was planning on opening talks with Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck over potential new deals for the pair.
Both players are out of contract in 2018 but it seems that these negotiations have gone south with the pair refusing to sign on.
The Times is reporting that both players are refusing to be rushed into signing new deals just to appease angry Gunners fans.
It remains to be seen how much truth is in these reports. Both players have had a slightly different time at the club this season with Danny Welbeck spending much time out injured and Aaron Ramsey performing well in the first-team. While agreeing to a new deal with the Welshman should be a priority, losing Welbeck wouldn’t be the end of the world.
