It was far from the best performance at the Emirates Stadium. The buildup was slow, the final pass rushed but the Gunners got what mattered: three points.
Arsene Wenger’s men have climbed back into the top four after this 1-0 victory which came courtesy of a first-half wonder goal from Mesut Ozil.
The German stuck an unstoppable volley past Rob Elliot to put the home side in front in a first-half they dominated.
Unfortunately, that ball domination wasn’t converted into goalscoring opportunities as the visitors grew in confidence and started creating chances of their own.
Fortunately, the Arsenal backline held firm to keep the three points in North London.
